Door-Opening Prayer

Using Lego props designed by his daughter Joanna, Pastor Trevor re-enacts the amazing story of Peter's escape from prison. In Luke's portrayal of the event in the book of Acts, he twice highlights the fact that Peter's church was fervently praying through the night for God to rescue him. And they were still praying in the middle of the night when the prayer was answered! Pastor Trevor believes that the world of the "end times" will look very much like the Roman Empire in which the Christian church began. His belief is that if we as the church of today want to thrive like the early church, we will need to emulate them in many ways. And one of those ways is enduring, passionate, faithful corporate prayer.
