The ninth installment of this series focuses on the role of praise and worship in church growth. If we have connected praise to growing a church at all, it has been the belief that great music and media will create a worship experience that will keep people coming back. But praise is really the proclamation that Jesus HIMSELF is all-sufficient and all-satisfying - enough to keep us coming back. And praise cannot reach its full potential until it is offered in SUFFERING and sorrow. Much of the book of First Peter addresses this reality, but in this dramatic monologue of Peter, based on the events of Acts 5:17-42, Peter explains how the joy of Jesus rises to match the suffering of Jesus.
