Is New Years a Bible Holiday?

There are a number of yearly holidays from the Bible, which are celebrated in our culture, by believers and non-believers alike. Is New Years a Bible holiday or a secular one? What does the Bible say (and not say) about New Years? What principles can we as Christians glean from what the Old Testament Law tells us about the beginning of the year? As a new area of study for Pastor Trevor himself, the goal is to tap the Bible for any wisdom that will help our church launch 2017 with Kingdom purpose and power and hope.
